@keysah2k Thanks for your interest. The Motor is built horizontal because of the ease of manufacturing. plus it puts the cylinders in a true line with each other creating less need for a counterbalance.

Why you have in both versions a small electric motor? Maybe that is which rotates the whole thing?

That is not a small electric motor. that is an encoder that enables us to program the advance and timing curve of this motor.

@DrGoodwrench64 it does use electricity to turn on on and off the the coil which are use to attract and repl the cylinder just like a gas engine.

It doesn't use electricity or any fuel. It uses permanent magnets as the power\fuel source. At least that's what the designers are striving for.
