Dynasty Warriors 7 DLC Weapons Demonstration

Timeline:
0:00-1:25---Hoping Zhang He will stop blocking long enough to take some hits from the dagger-axes.

1:57-3:00---Bombing the girls.

3:22-4:24---Short pike meets Zhen Ji's face.

4:35-5:36---Cai Wenji, Wang Yuanji, and Sun Shang Xiang get mace'd.


Stage: Playing Flowers Amidst the Chaos(Hard)
Music: Oppression, ver.2


Dagger-axe notes: The horseback charge attack, C4, and C6 will grab as many enemies as you can hit and are unblockable. The C5 is a blockable throw.

Bomb notes: C1, C6(if it connects), and switch attack detonate bombs. Bombs also detonate after ~12 seconds. Bomb explosions add the fire element even on non-elemental bombs.

Short pike notes: The dash in the C4 is a guardbreaker, the run during the C6 is an unblockable throw---at least for the enemies hit by the head of the weapon before it's swung.

Mace notes: C6 is a guardbreaker.


Why use Xing Cai? She has two star proficiency in all the DLC weapons so there's no annoying whirlwind. Yes, they're all Power-type weapons. The short pike and mace only require 40 Power for mastery, bombs requires 50 Power, and dagger-axes require 60 Power. Couldn't use Yue Ying, having her demonstrate that she can't use "her" weapon at the mastery level is just sad!

No idea how the video keeps going after 5:36--it should've ended right there. Too unmotivated to fix.

@WandrianWvlf well i usually not good at english but i know few thing.,so i play all my old DW all max..,i think some fan really wanted DW8 DLC Custome pokemon same chracter face like sun ce and his wife like hilbert and hilda and another zhuo yu and wife his xiao same as cheren and bianca.,so koei will make those thing?

@MrNazreen92 I'm not 100% certain I understand your question but...Regular DW7 DLC weapons, costumes, and music DLC should work with 7XL. Conquest Mode stage DLC will only work with 7XL if you do the remix dealie(which requres the regular DW7 disc). None of 7XL's DLC should work with regular DW7.

@MrNazreen92 You'll need to keep your copy of vanilla DW7 to access Story Mode and Conquest Mode, but otherwise everything transfers. 7XL has its own trophy set, independent of vanilla DW7. Weapon, costume, and music DLC will work with both games(except Guo Jia/Wang Yi/Pang De) but stages are another matter. Vanilla are only for Conquest, 7XL only for Legend Mode. I think that's about it.

@catdaddyboii Inspector. No, I don't know why he goes by that either. Basically a Koei EU PR guy. Save for when Koei itself can't make up their minds what to do(read: all the time), he's pretty reliable on news.

@catdaddyboii I've read that you need to search for it on PSN, but it shows up fine on XBL. The Japanese voice option has been out since April or so, the first wallpapers should be out Tuesday(Wednesday for Europe). Those wallpapers will be Wang Yuanji, Lu Xun, and Xiahou Dun. You may want to try Insp. Chin's blog and Koei Warriors to keep up to date with DLC news:

@catdaddyboii The only free DLC on 360 is the (terrible) Japanese voice option. PS3 players get that and some decent wallpapers. Everything else costs, equal prices on both platforms.
