Deutscher Chorwettbewerb 2010 - Preisverleihung Monteverdichor Würzburg

After succeeding at the Bavarian State Choir Contest the Monteverdi Choir Würzburg was sent to the National German Choir Competition in Dortmund which only takes place every four years.

Here the choir competed with some of the best choirs of Germany and finally won the 2nd prize in the category A2 (mixed choirs with more than 40 members)!

The video shows the announcement of the prize and the handout of the certificate to the choir leader and conductor Matthias Beckert at the concert house of Dortmund on May, 15.
