    I think Richard is really wrong about Europe. It wasn't over-regulation or over-taxation that caused Europe's problems, it was a lack of regulation which led to wild speculation in the financial markets, particularly the banking sector.

    There simply wasn't the wild speculation in Germany that occurred in other countries, that is why they are much healthier.
