We at Shockerhitch set out to build a better Gooseneck Air hitch for towing large horse trailers. The Surge Hitch is designed in a way that will direct 100% of the tow forces through an air bag. This system gives a nice soft start, great for trucks with clutches, and a much smoother ride, reducing the chucking and jerking you feel.

  • We use the Ease Guide coupler in our hitch assembly. The 3/4" retaining pin is in our experience a very substantial method of locking the hitch to the ball. We have many units on the road to date, and no reports of any problems. In our opinion the 3/4" pin is superior to many of the coupler retaining methods on the market today.

  • I mean reliable

  • Is that a good way to secure the ball in to the hitch, it looks like a product that I wuldnt mind spending my money on, but the way that you secure the ball into the hitch, is something ima little unsure about. I mean is that a realistic thing, could the ball somehow come from under from that pin.
