  • thats hot !!!

  • @72cpugeek thanks a lot!

  • Great set up. Love to see a man with his priorities straight lol. Where are the vinyl stacks?

  • @mrhoffame

vinyl is in some shelves to the right of the system (don't think its in the video).

i have spent all that crazy money on this system when i was single and younger

(about 10 years ago). now that i have a family to feed, it would have been a different story, i wouldn't have allowed myself to do it. every component in this system feels so solid that i think it may last a lifetime. nothing that you can buy commercially nowadays can compare...so i have no regrets!

    thanks for commenting!

  • Nice gear!! Love the turntable...what did it set you back? I just recently upgraded my turntable to a Clearaudio Performance SE and I love it. Vinyl rules!!

  • @blade9876

thanks! i can't really remember what i paid because i purchased it back in 2002 but I'm guessing roughly 5 G's with the origin live tonearm and shelter cartridge.

  • @audiophilemetallian oh and I was being CHeeky (joking) about the speaker shape- Maybe we should start an educated discussion about what we both truly know about speaker design -? Why do I get the feeling you felt I was attacking yoru sensibilites? Take it easy there Hostile.

  • @audiophilemetallian ok so you are angry and ignorant. Who knew? Troll? well you're an fucking asshole. I'll be generous for a bit here.. It sounds like shit for 3 very simple reasons.1 - it's recorded live with a mono microphone built in a camera with squashed freq. range. 2 - it's not direct input from source AND 3- due to the moving of microphone as mentioned creates somehting you've never heard about "comb filtering - it probably sounds fab live in the room, but not on youtube you idiot.

  • @oatstao I wasnt talking about the video quality friend. AGAIN get out here if you don´t know anything instead trolling. Unfortunately youtube doesnt do anything with those fucking idiots.

  • @oatstao Sorry but you don´t know anything about audio. Judging the speakers shape is the MOST fault.

  • Very Nice

  • @audiophilemetallian how can you tell? it sounds like it's coming through a roll of toilet paper on this end.. every time he moves the mic it causes a HUGE comb filter phasing effect. That's not AWESOME man.

  • WOW..I haven't heard this in soo long. A good 80's track. How can you go wrong with pyramid shaped speakers. Just stay away from PYRAMID branded gear. Horrible crap from Canada.

  • wow!

  • Hi Congrats!! your system is one of the best i´ve heard here in yt

    BTW what are these speakers??
