I don't believe that ministering through hip hop is conforming to the world. It's just a creative way to reach it. Being a dancer and dance teacher myself, I want to glorify God through what I love. Contemporary Christian music used to be unheard of as well but is now acceptable. These girls aren't trying to be "sexy and cute." They're just trying to reach what is now our culture. :)

@sigmalady07 i understand, but here in Philippines we are now using dance crews to reach out young people, to share the good news of salvation to them.. we are now in modern times and you'll have a hard time encouraging young people to just stand, clap, or do something routinary and repetitive, we have to let them move their body to express their worship. @khazhuioshie i respectfully disagree. Wise men differ, fools fall out. The word says dance in the Spirit. I dont know any1 that has ever been saved by a dance routine. I just believe that God requires a standard of Holiness. God Bless you.

@sigmalady07 Open your mind.. sister.. dancing is not for the world only.. if the "world" can do POP and LOCK or VOGUE.. why not Christians? God can redeem everything..! young people want to dance for God with this kind of genre.. and it is their way to praise and worship the Lord.. there's nothing wrong with it.

i just dont understand why we, the church is being influenced by hip hop,the world. Shouldnt the church be drawing the world? Its unfortunate that the world is drawing the church. Seriously, I dont know any1 that has been saved by a hip hop dance. Its not a time to be cute or sexy for God. We need to go back to the basics and dance under the influence of the holy spirit, not flesh. hip hop isnt holy at all no matter what we stamp on it. My Lord, clean and renew us, please. This makes me sad.
