Stephen Harper's Conservatives on Freedom and Gay Rights

The Conservatives claim that they are for peoples' freedom when they scrapped the gun registry - to not impose on gun owners, and when they scrapped the long form census - to not invade the privacy of Canadians. However, the Conservatives fail with this logic when it comes to abortion, where some members want to re-open the debate and once one issue opens, so does another, gay rights where the Conservatives are staunchly opposed to gay marriage. It goes to show that the Conservatives only support freedom on their terms... The Conservatives: Not for your Freedom.
