absolute priviledge to see them on their 40th anniversary tour in Glasgow with my Dad

if you listen to the overlaid harmonies closely, they really are quite intricate and a stunning technical achievement

There were hundreds of songs like this in the early 70's, and they still exist today.
This is one of the better ones.
Then came :Punk, New Wave and Rap and all, but a good song is still a good song, they just don't make them like they used to, sadly.

Great find, thanks :)))))

How the hell could anyone not like this???????????? It was a song in a million.

@TedRob1958 Jacqui is still touring with Jacqui McShee's Pentangle. It's a very different sound to the original Pentangle, being sax & keyboard led, but is still true to the folk-jazz fusion and the stunningly good musicianship -- I saw them live the week Bert died, and it was an incredibly moving experience.

I forget what a great song this is.

The late great Bert Jansch.

I first became interested in girls, about 12, and because of Take Three Girls which I watched on TV, with a bit of guilt because boys don't like girls, and this song has always took me back to that time, Things have moved on and the girl thing also, I listen to this song because of the talent of Pentangle and Jacqui's voice which is just perfect, Pure talent. I have listened to her sing more recently on you tube posts and though older has not lost that voice. Talent.

RIP BERT JANSCH.
