Both systems lack some things and both excel in some things, and personally I wouldn't mind both because they are both great systems....and did anyone notice we barely breathe towards the Wii...

I wouldn't use the fanboys to persuade/dissuade you of a purchase...there are fanatics on both sides that are equally annoying hehe.

That said, 2 years ago a PS3 was hardly worth having, but it's really stepped up it's game lately. Sony has more first party game studios than Microsoft and Nintendo combined, it just took long enough for them to get underway on the PS3.

Yea you are right. I shouldn't. I'm pretty sure the Ps3 is a fantastic console, but just like the Xbox 360 is has its cons as well as its pros.

I was thinking about getting a PS3 purely for some of the exclusives. but I'm not really sure about spending 300 dollars and then some just to play them.
