I have a star chip with 4 legs, the whole thing about as big as a nickel, and it's right in my line of sight. Would that be repairable?

@marlo916 We do not typically (emphasis on typically) recommend having a repair performed on damage that is in your line of vision. However, ROLAGS (Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standard) does address and have guidelines regarding the practice. Ultimately it is up to the repair technician as to whether he or she thinks that any damage can be repaired.

This video blows. I wanted the question "Is your windshield repairable" answered and this video fails to do so. It only restates numerous times that you have to bring it in to a company and let them determine it on a case by case basis. Now that you have read this you can skip 6:28 of wasted time and look elsewhere.

@4mkellogg -I believe it does in fact provide the answer. After showing several examples of typical damage types, at 3:00 it states, "Each of these break types is generally repairable." And again at 4:06 it is stated, “In general, most common breaks are repairable.” Thank you for watching and sharing your opinion.

it help you to understand of window repairman we got to get . And all types of cracks in the windshield. And were Cracks in your windshield can't be fix ?: Driver side wen you are looking thur the crack . Repair man don't fix it . video So SO ?
