She sang until she could and we all admired her for this: she made two generations dream, she will be remembered as the century legend of opera. Her language has never been a problem: she never pronounced Italian language as she should have done, but no matter, her singing has been adored from us Italian too!

@lantis323f What a ridiculous award ceremony. Poor Dame Joan had to turn her back on the audience to address the presenters who stood behind her at the back of the stage. Why can't they learn English, like the rest of Europe, instead of resorting to a translation to interrupt Dame Joan's thank you speech.

@lantis323f Adesso ci presentano la verita di sua carriera, che lei sempre cantava letteralmente e non aveva mai usato delle interpretazioni intuitive neanche purtroppo interessante. La sentendo giorni fa, mi sono addormentato mentre "Casta diva", e qualche altre "gioelli" che sono "indimenticabile". Boh.

mamma mia la presentatrice la chiama john o cosi mi sembra.....il fatto che non ricordi l italiano è un dettaglio non è indispensabile conoscerlo. Non capisco perche proprio la Sutherland sia stata premiata ......sara che a me non è mai piaciuta ........e quindi non condivido
