One of my friends, who recently went to MEPS for the Air Force, said that he got Cyber Systems Operations. The code was 3D0X2. Is that AFSC a good catch or is it BS?

@death55546 If you are a programmer and you want to say in programming while serving your country, I recommend Computer Systems Programming Apprentice AFSC 3D0X4 (AFSC stands for Air Force Specialty Code) You can copy and paste Computer Systems Programming Apprentice at about.com and you will find

some more info about the job...of course check out AirForce website too.

Hey guys im going to basic for the air force august 24th....yay!!! for me lol..... but anyways this is the job that im going for and i cant seem to find anymore vids on youtube about it all i have information given to me in job discriptions and thats a lil hard to decipher. but anyways someone reply and let me know if this job is nice or if i should just consider cross training. thx =]

@supersaurousrex What exactly is the difference between Cyber Systems Operations and Cyber Surety. I'd be interested in either one because I'm a programmer at my high school (tech school), but I'm not really sure which would be "better" for my type of profession. Unless it is simply preference, IE, they both are equal in computer science training. Could you clarify?

1. How long was tech school and was it hard?

2. Did you have to wait long before attending classes?

3. How long to complete CDC?

4. Is your AFSC highly mentally demanding?

5. Any tips for BMT; especially running? (my question really, he is a better runner)
