@SuperGodlovesme1 Jesus was all about the heart. Not the external body, not where we can fool anyone we want to. I don't know you but I do know that in more ways than one you are of the world and within secular spheres of influence. We all are to varying degrees. I'm sorry if tattooed people don't make up the buckle on the bible belt (thanks Mark Driscoll) but you are inferring legality and religiousness in a condemning, judgmental way oh too reminiscent of the Pharisees.

@SuperGodlovesme1 We are not trying to imitate the world. But by your standards of imitation, lets not where clothes like worldly people do or drive expensive cars worldly people have. The Bible is silent on it, so stop casting judgment on your brothers, especially judgement as unfounded as yours. Your homes-school ring morality standards really aren't Biblical sir.

@roroproduction exactly !!! that also my question..i dont get it why we are trying to look like thos ppl who are already under devil power. we should have our own decent style and fashion.
-
@roroproduction Jesus also said, "It is not what goes into a man's body that makes him 'unclean'...." context and personal conviction on certain things like tattoos are left to the individual's relationship with God, and yes one should be wise about doing those things. However, if you getting a tattoo, seeing a particular movie, or even having a drink is not causing another to stumble, then why is there a problem?
-
@roroproduction i'm pretty sure you have no idea how to read the bible in context lol

@museblock I agree with you regarding the value of God and his supremacy. However, nowhere in the Bible does is say "Thou shall not get tattoos" Leviticus isn't talking about that. Too many people inflect twenty first century culture in that passage. I meant the statement ""...as long as it doesn't hurt one's witness it's alright." in the context of tattooing and only tattooing. I wouldn't make that benchmark of living like Jesus in the slightest.

@roroproduction So keep your convictions to yourself. It becomes legalism when you force them on other believers. It doesnt say in God's Word no tattoos allowed, like I ALREADY SAID BELOW so we as Christians must pray about it and examine our motives. If it's for worldly reasons, then I would say don't get one. But if you have outreach in mind or a real purpose for it, then I say go ahead and use it somehow to glorify God. This to me is spiritual immaturity.
