I was at my farm the other day and spent 4 hours walking the property looking for sheds. I didn't find any sheds but I did take a few minutes to speak some thoughts on the whole anti-hunting movement that seems to rage on youtube. I've had a few nasty comments from some "antis" and wanted to express my feelings on the whole thing.

  • If its hunting for food, then its perfectly fine. But if its hunting for sport, thats wrong.

  • @XxEAZYxExX i eat every animal i kill

  • gyrate you are a typical troll. you obviously didn't listen to a word of this video had you actually listened to my video you would have heard that I have no problem with the fact that you find hunting distasteful, and that as long as you present yourself in an educated, mature manner, you will be welcomed here by me. But, you resorted to name calling (as so many of your 'ilk' do) because of a lack of organized thought. you dont get the last word, you couldn't follow the rules...blocked

  • @gyrate4 you can if that is your choice...that's my whole point, if you chose that, fine....but it's not for me and you shouldn't attack me anymore than I will attack you for your choices...thanks for watching

  • @mnjbooth “Choice” implies that you’re not hurting anything, when you are in fact killing animals needlessly. I’m attacking your “choice” because it is immoral.

  • @gyrate4 killing an animal needlessly would be to kill it and let it lay where it is and walk away. That would indeed be immoral. However, I kill animals and consume the meat, huge difference.

  • @gyrate4 "Hunting attracts a type."

Yep. The type that buys land, and sets it aside for wildlife, instead of living in a concrete jungle of destroyed forest, and buying more food from farms that destroy even more of our ecosystem.

The type that has a clue about nature, and actually spends time in it.

The type that takes the trouble to learn about the animals where they live, and care about the health of their populations.

    Yep. That type.

  • @tarbmuffinable And Tarb, that 58% feed aren't crops suitable for human use. Less than 10% of that meets standards. MOST of that feed are crops that don't meet food standards, or are remnants from other processed foods like tofu, which is made from soy. The soybeans are used to make the tofu, and the remnants are not suitable for human consumption. That is given to cattle. The cult-vegans don't acknowledge that and claim it is food lost to humans. It isn't.

  • @gyrate4 You call him a liar when you post easily debunked bullshit? Funny. 58% feed and residual use. 28% ethanol. 5% high fructose corn syrup. 2% glucose and fructose. 2% starch. 2% cereal and other uses. 1% drinking alcohol.

And I grew up on a farm. His comments are accurate. Vegan diets are more destructive to the environment than are hunting based diets because of habitat destruction & killing thousands of animals per acre to protect crops. That is reality.

  • Bottom line gyrate, your claims at moral superiority are completely hollow.

You pay to have animals killed, and waste their carcasses by not eating them. I pay to buy land and set it aside so animals have a place to live in the wild, and kill them for food, not wasting them.

The farms that feed you were forest, destroyed to feed you, killing and displacing every animal that lived there. You can lie about it all you want, but the truth of that statement is self-evident and unassailable.

  • Lol! How did I know you were a vego-cultist. Let me help you:

"We thrive without meat." Thanks to modern technology (recombinant bacteria producing B-12 for supplementation, we can indeed thrive without meat.

It is, however, not the natural state for humans who are generalized feeders.

"world class athletes" Sure. Never have denied it. But while appealing to authority that way, be sure to mention that 99.9999999% of world class athletes are not vegan.

  • gyrate,

Whether you eat meat or not. You are responsible for animal deaths. You pay for them to be killed, and denying that stone-cold fact just reveals you as a fool.

If you want to be a good ambassador for veganism, then this isn't the way to do it. Instead, try to promote it on the basis of health, because your argument about "reducing cruelty" is just not accurate.

The farmers, the people who feed you, know better.

    That is sincerely friendly advice.

  • Son, it is called science. You might want to start with one of the simpler studies, since you obviously lack reading comprehension and critical thinking abilities.

"Geographical patterns of human diet derived from stable-isotope analysis of fingernails." Am J Phys Anthropol. 2006 Sep;131(1):137-46.

That is just one of hundreds studies. Found that traditional vegetarian societies, weren't.

AA's aren't the problem. B12 is. Educate yourself. You are just embarrassing yourself.

  • Ok. I am tired of trying to have an intelligent conversation with a mindless cultist.

Congratulations, gyrate, on damaging your cause of trying to convince people to be vegan with your ignorance, lies, and stupidity.

And remember, every time you buy food, you are paying for animals to be killed, and wasting their carcasses. Hunters, on the other hand, eat what they kill, demonstrating a vastly greater respect for the animal and ecosystem.

    Truth hurts, boy.
