  • Does somebody know the name the song? I've heard the whole album, and I didn't find the song...

  • @JoseMB13 Convergence

  • Im not critising when im asking, but Ive seen the movie and i heard the music and I thought it was really weird and didnt make sense? I later heard that it had a grammy or something similar. Im just curious now, but does the music have resemblence to the film? what am i really missing because im not really used to this as it is when it coems to the music.

  • @CrA1n4 admitttedly it's not nice or comfortable music, or any other adjective we'd use for pop music. But its a musical representation of chaos slowly coming to order. Daniel Plainview begins the scene in chaos and panic and ends it with a clear and focused greed.

  • Does anyone know what the music for this scene is called???

  • @kokosonic90 Convergence

  • 4:34 to 4:45 always sends a chill down my spine . Its literally a moving painting , cloaked in sounds of chaos and horror, encompassing the turning point of this movie - the thematic emergence of greed arriving through hell fire and brimstone . Without a doubt this scene will go down as one of the greatest in film history.

  • From 1:47 to the end

    Everything is just PERFECT!!

  • Such a great scene. The camera movements are just stunning.

  • Anyone know where I can find the There Will Be Blood version of Convergence? It's different from the Bodysong version.

  • i remember seeing this movie in theater when i was 14. i didnt realize it then, but i walked out of the theater a changed person. whether it was the terrifying portrait of the destructive power of greed, the impeccable acting, the stunning imagery, everything was perfect.

  • Put up the scene where he slaps Eli around.

  • This scene is a treasure trove of cinematic technique. One could learn a lot about effective filmmaking from this scene.

  • @davewadam very very well said.

  • I honestly thought he cared about HW in this scene.

  • @shawn3975 good point. i guess i was naive to think he should give credit to his team and see it as a group victory. the guy next to him is his right hand man within the organization, so when he takes a double take, it appears that he is put-off by plainfield's selfish statement. he may have only done that double take because he was shocked by plainfield's lack of concern for his son's injury. thanks for your reply

  • @herewego9945 You may have taken him out of context. He says there is an ocean under OUR feet because that is simply were it is. Then when he says no one can get at it except for ME it is because it is HIS project HIS investment HIS risk so it is HIS gain. The rest of the people are just hired hands with nothing to risk.

This kind of thinking is not uncommon with business owners small and large, you dont know the kind of risk they have to take.
