This guy, and Terry Boars, are seriously, the best sports radio show in Chicago. They are funny, smart, doesn't give in to homerism, like a lot of us (including me) have done. They tell it like it is, they have strong opinions, which is what a sports show should be.

This show is non-stop sarcasm followed by "hilarity". Same crap every day. For once I'd like to hear interesting sports talk, not giggling school girls.

Boers and Bernstein are a great litmus test to determine what sort of sports opinions a person has. If they like 'em, they are smart and intelligent, and odds are they correct good sports opinion. If they dislike them, it's reasonable to assume they are mouth-breathing meatballs who don't have a single proper sport thought in their heads.

I miss the days when the SCORE was made up of real sports writers, ex jocks, and a guy off the street---Boers makes half a million dollars a year for this..the days of Scotts Pet Shop being the only sponsor and low salaries helped keep the sports talk real. Now its just entertainment with the entertainers making salaries that dictate the mode of the show. The old days were better in dialouge, sports topics, and guys who actually attend or at least watch the games. These guys do neither.

Boers and Bernstein really don't talk much sports I've noticed. It's a lot of joking around, giggling, and teasing. If you like that and the casualness go for it, no problem. But as far as sports talk, I prefer some of the other hosts on 670 or Carmen, Yurko, and Harry on 1000.

@davisdurand I guess ther is a lot to dislike about Boers and Bernstein, but still they seem to have the proper perspective when it comes to sports and hey, it a great gig if you can get it, and I lika Matt Abbatacola, and I still listen and at the very least you commented on them, and judging by your very accurate comment you must listen to them sometimes, so I guess they are doing something right.

to listen too!!
