  • Hi, I just started having groin strain problems since I started upping my intensity level on the treadmill. It's nothing serious, I'd say it's a Grade 1 strain.

    Do you know if it is common to suddenly get groin strain when one starts jogging when they are not used to it? Prior to this I would walk.

  • When i do splits my friends always say no penis. i do have one and just because i can do a split does not mean it rips your penis its just your leg muscles stretching

  • @C8CKSTAR I have struggled with this injury in the past so feel to message me if you have any questions as I know from experience just how debilitating it can be and how confusing it is to find out the solution when everyone says to do something different

  • Just 4 anyone with an adductor strain- DO NOT DO THESE EXERCISES THINKING THEY WILL AID RECOVERY, these are meant for healthy but under used muscles. If you have adductor strain start by applying heat or deep heat cream and doing static stretches and then get a physio to do some sports massage on the affected area. After 1 (if it is a mild strain) or 2 massages then start doing sum 'sumo' squat stretches and use a foam roller every few days to keep stiffness to a minimum

  • @ShelterDogs: if you are talking about the area below the iliac crest (pelvic bones) those are primarly your hip flexors. if by intensity you are increasing the incline then I would stretch those muscle groups. grab your foot and pull it back like a quad stretch and pull your foot up, another good one is a spiderman ( push up position similar to a moutain climber one foot is up towards our elbow and the other is all the way back)
