Its amazing to see the lanes that Alabama's Oline were making. They just dominated. no wonder 3 of them went in the 1-2 round.

Very happy with the Lacy pick. But you can't deny that running behind an O-line like Alabama's can inflate a RB. I mean this entire Alabama O-line was almost drafted. I like Lacy a lot, but I like Franklin a lot too. Lacy needs work on his pass blocking, but at 230 pounds, I think he'll be just fine. Doesn't have that break away speed to beat safeties, but more than makes up for it with his arsenal of moves. If we didn't end up drafting a RB, I wanted us to try to get Ingram from the Saints.

That is just stupid. They are both very good backs. They are different. Lacy is a straight up power back with some wiggle. Franklin runs with excellent power for his size but is more of a shifty runner. Franklin is a better receiver and blocker at this point. I seem Franklin winning the 3rd down back role to start and maybe getting a series or two a game. I do imagine if healthy Lacy will get a majority of the touches.

As long as the Packers have an decent O-Line this year then you won't have to worry about a good runningback such as in Lacy getting negative yards, after all he can't get it done by himself
