@maxbaseballman like i said before, Purdue has been awful in football for years, so regardless if all of your team was injured, it's still not a big deal to beat Purdue. sorry to get your hopes up, but beating a weak program on their home turf isn't that impressive lol

@physicskid1 we were missing several players, the game was at your stadium, charlie weis was our head coach...several things played into the outcome of this game, which we won.

@maxbaseballman yeah well Purdue hasn't been good in football for about 5 years now, so saying that you beat Purdue isn't really saying much. the fact that this was a close game should be a huge insult to that school considering that they're a big traditional football school. talking bad about Purdue football isn't really an insult anymore, we all know that Purdue football is a laughing stock, so you're just preaching to the choir buddy lol

@halonotredame1 hahahahahaha how did that work out for you? last year and this year? enjoy all your championships that no one was alive to see.
More proof that going to a college football game is way better than going to a pro game.

Teams lose very often when their QB is out. Check Oklahoma VS BYU. Losing your QB, running back, and WR, who score points is a major loss. Purdue did well putting up 21 . If ND's offense was at 100%, ND would have put up 45. I don't see this game nearly as close with KEY injuries at the KEY positions. Purdue isn't a BAD team, that wasn't my post. Yes.. when it comes to point scoring.. losing a lineman isn't the same as losing RB'S, WR'S or QB'S. Do you even understand football?
