The slave master had to die for making slaves out of human beings. In order to take your slave into death with, you must convince the slave to worship the devil. The fear of god was beaten into African people so that the African would never stop worshipping the devil, and the African would always be willing to die to get the reward promised by the slave master. Not all dictionaries have the variant of many words. I now understand what the variant of dam is. I found the variant in a library.
