British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC is the world's largest broadcasting network. It recently worked with the British government to launch the country's first Gaelic television channel, BBC ALBA. In 2003, the British government passed the Communications Act 2003 that guarantees that "The functions of the Service shall be to secure that a wide and diverse range of high quality programmes in Gaelic are broadcast. the Gaelic media service, MG Alba then established under the Act, then comes the initiative of BBC ALBA, which is funded by MG ALBA, financed by the Scottish Government and BBC Scotland, launched, in Sep. 19th.
