@alamc200 He's not FROM Germany, though. "He was from Salzburg which now in Austria", like you said yourself. Also, I know they've always spoken German there, only an a rather dim person wouldn't know that.

@writer15131 There was no Austria yet when Mozart was alive. What is now Austria was part of the the Holy Roman Empire in his time. He was from Salzburg which now in Austria and they've always spoken German in that area.
