Cool Confusion by The Clash from Clash on Broadway (Disc 3) and Super Black Market Clash.
Not the ordinary Clash song (in any Clash song can be called ordinary) and rather experimental, but a very good song if you ask me.
Anyway, I am on a bit of a mission to make sure everything ever recorded The Clash ends up on Youtube. As usual I just scraped the video togheter in 5 minutes mostly just using the same old pics as always, and as customary rounding it all up with the nice pic of Joe smoking, to honor the perhaps greatest human being of all time.

RIP Joe

  • Ooookaaay....

  • Thanks my friend. This all started with my neighbor (a "Clash Expert") egging me to find some Clash. I graduated high school in '81 and was hipped to Sandanista about that time. We were a rough bunch of druuggies and I was try to place where I got exposed to The Only Band That Matters. Long story short. Little did I know we was pretty close to the cutting edge at the time. The work you do has reintroduced me to a major force in my development. Thank you. This has made my day and this recession

  • I envy you who was around at the time of the conception of such great music.

Me myself, a wee lad a the mere age of 14, hadn´t even heard the name of Joe Strummer the day he died. Shame on me.

The Clash have inspired me a lot too. They pretty muc introduced me to music, which is now probably my biggest interest. Just 2 years ago I never ever listened to music, now I listen hours upon hours a day.

Indeed, my entire attitude to life has changed thanks to The Clash.

    The greatest band ever.

  • Appo, you are a god.

  • If I´m a god, then what must not Joe, Mick, Paul and Topper be? The thought staggers the mind.

  • I appreciate you so greatly for this. I got to meet Joe about five weeks before he died and he told me these words "Say what you mean and live it, thats how I try to live" Such a great man and an amazing musician. That goes for all four of them.

  • before those two great collections on crap CDs I had this on vinyl baby (B-side of one of two USA 45s of "Should I Stay ...")

  • this was one of their best songs and it definently should've been on Combat Rock at least...

  • listen to the cooL Confusion Band..

  • I agree. There are some excellent documentaries out there. They're pretty kinetic, but then, they liked speed.

Can't think of the name of the docu, but I saw them play for the first time. Until that moment, I had only heard audio recordings.

I was stricken with great sadness with the knowledge I'd never have the chance to see them play live, at least with the original lineup, as Joe Strummer had passed away the year before.

On my top 10 for what I'd take with on a desert island
