I remember seeing this. Great story, I guess, but it morally bothered me. They act like childrens existence is somehow worth more then that of an older person, and thats sad. I don't judge the worth of a person by their age. If I had to go with that dude to save seven people, Id do it. Im thinking that sacrificing every human to save one is selfish. A parent will chose to save their child even if it meant ending the world, especially if its a pre teen, but that doesn't make it right.

it's crazy I didnt even know this was Stephen Kings'. I just remember watching it as a kid and I thought i look it up again cause I loved it so much. Weird...

A bit unrelated to this but I read Hearts in Atlantis by King and it is one of m favorite books. It's not horror-scary but the narration and the story is quite cool.

this and rose red are my favorite stephen king movies, ever.. and firestarter is my favorite stephen king book :]
