The Lilly pad city is able to hold 50 000 people, it is designed to be built if the worlds cities flood because of global warming. It would travel all throughout seas and oceans with no boundless possibilities as to where it could go.

  • Nothing worse than people who just shoot down other people's ideas without proposing anything better. If you have better designs, pls post link. If you don't, crawl back under your stone.

  • Regardless of what others think, those floating "cities" look freakin' awesome.

  • waah a high tech floating prison! impressive! but I preffer the masdar type prison

  • @Blueden89 It's not like the world flooding will happen over night, like in a certain very popular book... The water has to come from somewhere, and that takes time. Time we'd use to build these.

  • Cool idea, but I bet ya not a lot of "common class" people will be able to afford to live on it.

  • Sponsored by mercedes ;) Check windows :)
