We took in a rescued basset hound recently and one day I gave her a bone with a treat in the middle to chew on. We have 2 other dogs, one an incredible basset named Henry (see him in other posted videos) and an amazing welsh corgi named Rowyn. Being the new dog, though, Freida was very protective of her bone and could not even lie down to chew it out of fear that her 2 new brothers might take it from her. So, she just nervously paced around the house with the bone in her mouth. After a little while of doing this I decided to take her out for a walk and I also let her take her bone with her. Much to my surprise, even though I have always heard about dogs burying their bones, I had never actually seen one do it, until then when Freida quickly, and almost frantically, searched for a place to hide her bone from the Henry and Rowyn. Amazingly I was able to catch it on video.
