  • for some reason this style really really reminds me of Pejman Hadadi. Was he your instructor ?

  • you really wanna play dont ya? :) weeell it kinda depends on how big the zarb is. just warm it up over the stove burner and rub the surface, keep doin it til you have a high-pitched beat. but i cant give you an exact time though.

  • how long**

  • how should i warm it up for??

  • well you know, a fire or a stove burner.

  • be specific bro a burner?

  • heat it up over a burner, and rub the surface, until it cools down, repeat this until you have a high pitch. but dont let it get too hot to where it burns your hand cause you'll ruin it.

  • i got it and mine makes a vibrating sounds when i hit it my parents say you have to warm it up but how?????

  • well you could try ordering from the internet. thats where i got mine.

  • lucky enough i did find a teacher i like to play alot to but then again i only know 5 rhythm and im learning the riz its kind of hard and plus im playing on a djembe hopefully ill get a zarb today but it sucks that there's no kurdish stores around here who sell them

  • if you learn from the computer it may be pretty difficult. but then again it could probably be easy to, for you. I learnt from my uncle, and now im professional. it took 4 years, playing hours a day and really enjoying it. so try to find somebody that lives close to you that plays. and then they can teach you and eventually you will learn basics and start learning on your own.
