Markalson does it again! Thanks.

WOW! It's been 36 years since I heard this! I sang it with a men and boys chorus in our summer pops concerts at all those great hotels and resorts (some long gone) in New Hampshire's White Mountains/Franconia Notch area back in the summer of '73! I'm glad someone remembered this! (The chorus, the Bretton Woods Boy Singers, is long forgotten, but they had the honor of singing at President Eisenhower's dedication of the Old Man of the Mountains [he's gone, too] as a national historic site.)

I've been a Frankie Laine fan for so many years. I love his work. I attended a Ganders Dancers Ball in the early 50's. My girl friend and her sister jumped on stage and danced with him. What great memories. Thanks markalson 1938

@regnar54 There comes a time in all our lives when the most valuable thing we have our our memories.

My son used to work for the railroad. He even won a spike driving contest. He now works for the U.S Department of Transportation. He never did become a Frankie Laine fan.

@cf1934 Neither is my Son or Grandson for that matter. I guess you have to be raised with the music to be a real fan. But I do get a lot of e-mails from kids as young as 14 who love the early 50's music. So there is always hope of a comeback, but not in my life time I'm sure.
