Why they didn't invented an emergency GPS locator to plug into the dock of an iPhone,
and then with a little iPhone app we just have to press a button to be rescued !
It's not really expensive because just a GPS antenna is needed and i think everyone is going to but it !

@yalecheerleder Every 5 years the beacon must be serviced which includes the batteries replaced, gaskets and o-rings replaced, beacon tested to make sure it is working properly and is still waterproof. Cost is around $150 every 5 years.
