3. Regardless, I am still glad to live in America, where we have freedon of speech & the right to assert our opinions w/o fear of persecution. Good luck to Mr. Edwards. I'm glad he helped me decide who not to vote for.

2. It's fine if people are happy in their state & wouldn't change that, but it's unnecessary to show this in a nat'l ad by making neg. comments about another state.
The NY Daily News ran an article on this video's anti-NY comments; I'm not the only person who found this offensive.

1. With all due respect: I understand the point you are trying to make, but I'm not sure your argument is valid.
Most people are aware of the NY/Boston rivalry & mentioning it would have been amusing.
Using your reasoning, the ad should state, "Would you relocate to NY & become a Yankees fan?", but it doesn't. It portrays relocating to NY as beneath people.

The video is for New Hampshirites and getting them excited about volunteering for John Edwards. I think you are reading way too much into this.

"Would you relocate to NY?"... followed by many negative comments about NY??? Good job Mr.Edwards! Lets forget all of the New Yorkers (and AMERICANS) who lost their lives in 9-11.... lets forget the New Yorkers who have since laid down their lives for this country in the war on terror. Thank you, Mr.Edwards, for making a mockery of my homestate in your national ad campaign. This is one New Yorker who will NOT be voting for you because of it!
