Nenshi would make the rest look like complete incompetent clowns - that's the reason.

Naheed's answer to the Heritage question, which was not in his platform, really shows the breadth of his knowledge.
Nenshi is the only rational choice.

@squirrellylikesfish Calgary Sun is a shitty newspaper with nothing good to read anyways.

nenshi is personable!! he can crack a joke, while hold a completely serious topic... we dont need some robot running our city, we need a nenshi, he knows his stuff, nd his people... hes got this more than any of em
-
nenshi always seems so cool and calm

Barb Higgins is such a bullshit artist old school Albertan shoe-in... she is already showing disdain for her public.

Barb Higgins is FUCKED after raging in interview

I'm not even eligible, but if I were, I wouldn't vote for ANY of them, based solely on all of the freaking signs. STOP LITTERING THE CITY!

@gordonmcdowell thanks for all the work you did putting this on the net. Very informative and I think you did help us get that elusive three-candidate debate. Thanks again!

Neshi For Mayor
I wish Nenshi the best of luck... I hope he will be a good mayor. My only complaint about the election was the Calgary Sun posting the weekend before the election..."Our choice for Mayor is Nenshi".... I can understand a newspaper writing about a candidates platform and even criticizing it.... but it doesn't sit right with me when a newspaper tells the public how they should vote. Let people read the articles and form their own opinion.

@squirrellylikesfish Well I'd disagree there. Even the Calgary Herald (which supported McIver) did so in a nice summary explaining pros & cons of each candidate. I think objectivity in the news is sort of a false promise, and it is better to have the journalists tell you not just their opinions on races and topics, but their biases and influences that might be affecting their decisions.
Of the "full length" debates, none saw more than about 1000 views... people don't have time to research.
