Well... it wasn't exactly vintage back then... more like just out of the factory I bet, considering how much the Who smashed their instruments back then.

Well to be honest, that's the WHO!, they didnt even use high end equipment because instrument destruction was part of there set. they keep the high end stuff for the studio

Totally right about the gear.. 2 minutes of a pop playback doesn't give you the (moral) right to crash everything, It just doesn't make sense.
