New Orleans jazz clarinetist Johnny Dodds and his Washboard Six recorded "Bull Fiddle Blues". It was 1 of 4 songs recorded from a recording session on July 6, 1928 and originally released on Victor label 78 rpm record. This is an early 1950s reissue on the "British Rhythm Society" label.

Includes Natty Dominique on cornet, Honore Dutrey on trombone, Johnny Dodds on clarinet, Lil Armstrong on piano, Bill Johnson on bass, and Baby Dodds on washboard.
