@OUTOFGAS88 I wasn't trying to justify slavery, don't get me wrong. I only implied it's completely natural. That is how the universe works; stronger force dominates the weak. The universe/God knows of no such things as good and evil, they are utterly human concepts. I'm not saying that we should forget the past either, but we should stop dragging it with us everywhere as if a piece of luggage. You can't blame us for what our ancestors did. The important thing is what we do in this moment, now.

@OUTOFGAS88 Slavery has been part of human culture for thousands of years. The first known culture that had a system of slavery was Sumer. That's 8000 fucking years ago, and they were neither black nor white. Egyptians were black and they slaved both whites and blacks 5000 years ago. Do you see anyone crying around about that? 2000 Years ago, slavery was everyday life in Ancient Greece, the culture which almost conguered the world. Whites slaving whites. Nobody is crying about that either.

@mikeygeneral Your argument is flawed. As long as we keep dragging that shit with us, people will use it to justify racism on both sides of the table. It's been who know how many centuries already, so why cant you just get fucking over it. Also, it was white man who abolished slavery. If the collective white race really wanted to continue slaving your race, they could have, but they saw it was wrong. Slavery is not something that the white race invented. It has been around since 3000BC.

i love the irony of this clip. how the whole "cast" is white but this is a movie about the plights of slave aka black people.
