Amazing creatures! Would love to watch them in the wild!

@NCRRanger108 no i dont think they do... they mainly live in giant herds or schools or w.e and they shared and lived together, becuase of there beautiful shell many fishermen capture more then what is needed just to make money, seeing nautilus in a small group was rare untill now... seeing a lone nautilus means that it just ecsaped a fishermens net... it must of tried following the net but got lost along the way... poor guys :(

Nautilus: WTF OMG SOMETHING'S TOUCHING ME
-
can someone tell me if they can come out of the shell or if it is attached , also do they fight eachother
-
dont nake it mad it might squirt ink on you

To anyone that actually is upset over the diver touching the nautilus-- you're missing the point. With all of the horrible things threatening the ocean ( oil spills, mass fishing, gill netting, aquarium fish suppliers bombing reefs, climate change, etc), becoming outraged over something like this is absurd. There are far larger battles to be fought. Videos like this only spread awareness of these amazing creatures, a great thing if you ask me!

The Chambered Nautilus is born with a seven chamber shell and yea it does add to the shell as it grows but not by eating other creatures shells.
don't touch it....that's unfair, it can't be fast enough to escape...
