I have one of these too, it's almost quiet in comparison to another IBM xS*** (4U) I had! I only power it on when I have to do a network render, or whatever. Definitely not a ‘fun’ system, or whatever!

@douro20 Really noisy at first boot, then gets quiter. I can listen to music in the same room with 2 running.

How noisy is this thing? The noisiest computer I have ever been around was a Dell Poweredge server with four Opteron processors which ran a whole Wal-Mart store- the thing was so loud you could hardly hear yourself speak if you were in the same room.

just baugh an ibm x series 235 dual p4 2.5 ghz server, i have the same one as you, but i run bf2 server, and other things on, but im going to use the one i baught as a email exchange server. get a rack cabinet!
