  • I would like to take this comment as a compliment....thank you for your seeing the fluidity in the techniques, I have been working very hard to make it as smooth as possible.

Rather than HE moving with my moves, I'm am trying very hard to follow HIS movements as to use less strenght. A friend of mine told me how effectif my striking and hitting weak/sensitive spots were but he also said that I was counting a bit to much on my hitting skills to take the agressor down.

  • that is what I have been working on since then... during this video, I almost did not hit my "opponent", but I could have, if needed....

  • Question. Does this stuff work when the person you are fighting does not comply to every move you do like the opponant in this video?

  • before answering your comment I would like to specify that zxspec notified me that you used his computer to leave this message....

  • @zxspec Yes, to shin do was created by Stephen Hayes for pure street defense of modern American days meaning there are many variations and ways to change what you want to do

  • What I find especially nice is how you go smoothly and calmly. It's very "Ying", if I may say so. The way you seem to force yourself to remain smooth and fluid show in all your moves. That's the reason why it doesn't seem really impressive on 1st sight (don't take it wrong, I'm sure when you mix Ying/Yang, the result is spectacular). Well, nice job anyway.

  • Excellent fluidity Johan, you were even better to train with in person in the U.K seminar, anyway keep it up!

  • Wow Johan, your taijutsu is coming along really well!!! Nice movement and technique.

Look forward to seeing you and your students at the mr norris seminar next month.

    Regards.

  • Righteous! I love this video! Johan, I saw it in full when you sent it to me...great work. I'll endeavor to make mine at least half as good as this!
