Smart Ads WERE are going to be the most significant development in advertising since the advent of commercial TV.
Smart Ads:
- combine the emotional and branding power of TV ads.
- can include special offers and promos (including bar codes that can be scanned straight from the screen).
- can direct the recipient to their nearest stockist, by use of the GPS tracking built into the Gizmondo console - wherever they happen to be at the time they receive the ad.
- are sent to individuals based on that individual's preferences - so if they tell us they prefer Britney Spears to Busta Rhymes, then we'll send them ads for pop music rather rap (relevant ads, not irrelevant ones).
These are highly targeted, highly relevant ads that bring value to both the advertisers ... and more importantly, to you
Sorry but ads are annoying and intrusive, no matter how much you try and sugar coat them :D
