Midi operated Harpsichord 63 note upright by Roberts Musical Restorations

This is a custom built 63 note (F1toG6) Harpsichord that is MIDI operated. There are 1000s of songs that can be downloaded for free on the internet. This unit is wireless and can be operated by any computer. For this customer I included a midi keyboard that can be connected via USB port and can play the Harpsichord from anywhere in the home.

WOW! That's awsome O_o How are the jacks moved? What are u using to move it? little coil winding?

The Jacks are moved using solenoids and are connected magnetically so there isn't a solid connection to bind up. You could simply pull them out.

heheheh, say have you tried some hot blues and jazz on this? One thing that could sound really tasty is "It's Hot - Leave It Alone!" which is available as a MIDI from Terry Smythe's piano roll site.

EXCELLENT! This reminds me a lot of an upright MIDI harpsichord that Mike Ames used to have (still has?). Did you base it on his design?
