Wow!! I have been SO intimidated by cabling that I haven't even explored how to do it prior to now (I've been knitting for about 7 months). This video was the BEST possible introduction to it that I can imagine. Thank you so much - I think I'm ready to give this a shot!! :)

@rhondie4ever There are several different ways to hold your kneedles. I hold mine like she does.
English and Continental knit style or American and Throwing knit styles. I know of some knitters who don't do either! As long as you have the stitches and twisting down, it works.

I think people should try and be as creative as possible, I always try different approaches to all the crafts I do. Good luck.

This is the greatest video! I've been knitting only about a month (left handed person, English style) and have taken to it obsessively - yes, I have to know ALL of the abbreviations in a week (!) But I wanted to demystify the cabling thing, and your video is fantabulous. I am going to try this tonight with an easy scarf pattern I found online. Thanks thanks thanks!
