I love this (and it's sequel even more!) to no end. "Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom" is a 1 to 4 player slash 'em'up with RPG elements, a refined version of Capcom's very own "King of Dragons" game style. This was later ported to the Sega Saturn, but sadly, since it was already a commercial failure (the console, not the game) in the rest of the world when faced with the PSX, the home conversion never left Japan. Hey, is that Mike Haggar posing as the Inn keeper!?

  • I wonder why this game didn't make it onto any of those Capcom Compilation discs?

    Seems perfect for it.

It's only the Japan Saturn game Dungeons & Dragons Collection, & it costs a small fortune on EBAY.

  • Because Capcom no longer hold the rights. All CPS1 and CPS2 games that were licensed (like AD&D, AVP, Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, etc) usually don't make the cut on the compilations. Tragic, really...

  • This has got to be my FAVORITE arcade game ever! This and the sequel.

  • Sequel video is processing. :)

  • yeah I'd say this pair of games was a commercial failure as well. Only reason the first Capcom D&D got a sequel was because all the nerds pumped tons of money into it. Notice Capcom let the series die after making the second one. Worst beat em up games by Capcom ever made. They aren't even beat em ups with RPG elements cuz there really arent any RPG elements. the EXP points aren't really EXP, just score. The EXP is fixed, you beat a stage you level up a fixed amount, LAME. K.O.D. was better.

  • i cannot for the life of me get mame or mame32 to work on my computer at all. i know its powerful enough to run the games but i dont understand how to run it. ive used all the main nes, snes, genesis, gba and even n64 and nintendo ds emulators just fine but not mame and it pisses me off because there are sooo many classics i need to play again

  • I love these games I seriously think they should put this on PSN/Xboxlive I mean since everybody is getting into Dungeons and Dragons.

  • Yeah, that echo is what made me drop money in this game the first time I saw it in the arcade back in the day.

  • How long is this game?

  • It just goes the show you- The JAPANESE were the masters at making awesome videogames based off of American Franchises, especially companies like KONAMI and Capcom!

  • I WANT THIS GAME ON PS NETWORK¡¡¡
