triplet slap groove, fast & slow

An 80s slap groove..can´t remember the name of the band who wrote it. Using triplets and some sliding "chords" (A (A and C#) sliding to G (G and B).

Finally remembered who made the riff. A group called Mezzoforte, the song is called Rollercoaster!

Dude you're way off. first of all there is no Level 42 track called pink. It's called Mr. Pink. Second of all this has nothing to do what that. but just as he said its from Mezzoforte rollercoaster, well it's not how the riffs goes, but it's close...anyway nice played

Yeah I totally fell in love with the Fbass when I tried it in NY last year. Mine is a custome laquered "Tiger Bobo" bass. Black grain ash and a gold/auburn burst. Plays and sounds like a dream! This was filmed with a cellphone I should add :)

hehe well that happens. Rollercoaster is still a cool riff though. Btw. at 0:51 (ish) you make a triplet. How do you do that. Do you use the middle and index finger on the 2 high stings (as Marcus Miller does it) or do you put the thumb behind the low string and make the triplet that way? Personally i use the last one with the thumb behind the low string, but thats because i can't get the other one to sound right (working on it)
