seems like you wud get a lot of product wastage wen u melt it cuz of the leftovers in the melting cup.....good idea tho for lipstick left in the bootom of the tube
-
i have a question. when you r in the melting stage, can you add any kind of flavouring to the lip stick? but so that the mixture wont change in looks or anything it will just have a nice flavour to it now. can u do that?

I love this tutorial!! This is a good idea to use on lipsticks that have been used up already but still have some left when scooped out. I see this saving me a trip to the store to replace a shade and saving me some money. Thanks!!

hi, i'm just wondering does it change the chemistry of the lipstick to heat it at all? i know the colours change but i've also heard it can affect the emulsifiers and make it not last as long. do you know anything about this? thanks!

warming it to melt doesnt change, its bringing it to boil does - much lime any mixture really, once it boils it changes. So dont let it reach a boil.

Do you recommend mix colors to get custom shades or does that mess with the formulas?
