@mightyjet777 it depends what you've blown the whistle for really......if youve blown it after the guy punches him then the free kick has to go the way of the team who got struck...however if the referee here actually opened his eyes and saw he was getting his shirt tugged, the free kick would go the way of the dude who hit the guy in the face

mrpsychic - yes, you are correct! this is why americans get so many red cards in international competitions, some referees would let this go and the players would think it was ok to just lose their tempers on the field

you are an idiot, im referee in NSW and he puched the guy in the face. Its a red card for sure and he would prob be suspended for the rest of the season or at least 5-6 weeks. However the free kick would still go to the yellow team for pulling the shirt. Fucking idiot

i remember this! he didn't PUNCH me, however he did push me away with both hands and one of his hands hit me in the face. I fouled him first though, by grabbing his shorts. Gus, you scored in this game, we won 1-0, right?
