"John Lowe Worst Televised 9 Dart Finish" more like, what a shitty out of sync upload, totally diminishing the greatness of the occasion.
-
keith deller never had a chance
-
nicely out of sync xD

@snowskatesnow To be fair I think it was a deliberate decision to allow the crowds to get rowdy and cheer and shout during the play. It is more difficult for the players no doubt but makes for a more vibrant atmosphere at the venue and on TV.

today it £52,000 for 9 dart finisher
-
100k in 1984 = £1m today?? 'only' get 10k now
the audiences clearly showed so much respect back then...could probably hear a pin drop whilst he was throwing - would never happen in todays game.

The caption guy has been waiting for many years to press the button that brings up FIRST PERFECT GAME IN A TELEVISED MATCH. Credit to him for bringing it up so instantly
