  • Try that rhythm with 3/16 override! This is a lot more difficult than simple quarter overriding.

  • @crisesrocks yes i agree but the point of this lesson was to explain the concept of overriding odd meters and to convey the simplist way to train your ear and that way is a simple 7/8 pattern that we are all used to. With this pattern you can learn to break down any odd meter. Its all about the feel and using it as a practice tool. Not flexing my muscles and showing off. i save that for solos and covers haha.
