On a train, you have about a 1/4 to walk back and forth, a snack car, dining car, coach where seats actually recline and can turn to face the windows, you can use your cell for most of the trip, they have real electricity, you don't have to worry about TSA (Terrorizing Security A $ $ Holes) stealing your toothpaste and deodorant, if there's a problem with an engine, you don't have to turn back or limp along on whatever remaining engines are running...

The upside to jets is they don't derail

About 21 hours total in the air. Never looked forward to hotel bed more in my entire life ;)

First time in flying transoceanic in coach, I didn't know enough to get up and walk around. When getting close to final into Sydney, I went to put my shoes back on, and I couldn't get one on because my foot had swollen up. Thought I was allergic to Australia, and I was so looking forward to the trip! LOL
