i beg to disagree with this vid. the breech that was detected on earth's magnetic field poses the greatest risk for humankind. if technology is at risk, then people's lives is at risk, for we depend so much on it. absence of technology (elec. grid, computerized water system, etc. etc.) is tantamount to millions of death worldwide. nations that aren't so dependent on it will survive.

That's True.. But, The problem is within us people.. because we are the one who is destroying our own defense which protects us!

everyone has their own opinion so i got one....... the sun about to light all u devils up. imagine that...... a world without the beast !!

The magnetic weakening or partial reversal, mainly East of Brasil "might" actually allow aurorae in mid latitudes.
Ironically, its already noted as the most noted area for local "Global cooling".
Interesting times maybe?

Michio Kaku says that the sun also has a 100 year cycle when we get hit with a tsunami from the sun. What does NASA say about that cycle?
-
nothing, the sun will become a red giant in 5000.000.000 years and if the human race survives untill then, the technology will be alot better and we can move to another galaxy.

@muckstar23 If our prediction is correct, Solar Cycle 24 will have a peak sunspot number of
90, the lowest of any cycle since 1928 when Solar Cycle 16 peaked at 78," ..\

@muckstar23 The panel has decided that the next solar cycle will be below average in intensity, with a maximum sunspot number of 90. Given the predicted date of solar minimum and the predicted maximum intensity, solar maximum is now expected to occur in May, 2013. from noaa today
