2010-04-20 - XBase loves Kenny - Kenny's Death FX in action

New gimmick just grabbed: Kenny's Death - some sort of analogue Fuzz Distortion Filter FX. First Test, fuzzing the Jomox XBase09.

You know the Metasonix TM-7 Scrotum Smasher FX box? Kennys Death is definitely not directly comparable to the TM-7, it's not tube-based and so its not anything close to a "copy" of the TM-7, but if you don't wanna spend the money for a TM-7, this red rabbit bastard is your friend. Its sooo cool, really solid (metall box with quality pots), fully analogue and also includes a cranky lowpass filter with seperate output (if you want). The first run was limited to 20 units for approximately 150€ a unit at the end, initially even "just" 130 € but its sold out. Seems like I got lucky.

Kenny will smash your ears really hard and is pure fun fun fun!
